Platform fit is assessed across intended use, documented capabilities, published price and fee structure, marketing stack, learning-management depth, operational complexity, data portability, and source freshness.
What a recommendation means
A recommendation means a platform appears suitable for a stated use case based on the evidence described on the page. It does not mean the platform is best for every buyer, nor does it guarantee performance, income, learner outcomes, or uninterrupted service.
Evidence labels
- Official source: provider pricing, product, support, or legal documentation.
- Hands-on test: only used when the test conditions and date are documented.
- Editorial analysis: an inference or tradeoff assessment based on cited evidence.
- User report: anecdotal information that must not override current official terms.
Scoring
The interactive advisor gives the strongest weight to the buyer’s primary use case, then budget alignment, then preference for built-in marketing. Scores are fit indicators, not quality ratings.
Corrections
Material errors should be corrected promptly, with the verification date updated only when the underlying record has actually been reviewed.
